AIHSC's previous logo had little equity or design scalability. This design is AIHSC's new identity (in 2023) that establishes the native american foundation of Chicago and provides a consistent, bold identity for all of its marketing channels.

7 Sacred Branches is a program for AIHSC's Behavioral Health service. The program offers guidance for the tenets of a traditional set of values for native americans to live by. They are Love, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Wisdom, Humility and Truth. This is some of the digital imagery used for multi-channel marketing.

This design is an abstract of a feather painted in the colors of native american medicine wheel, with a silhouette of a tree and branches constructing the stem of the feather. The two feathers form the numeral seven.

Four Directions Fitness is a new fitness center for native american community members. The eagles' sweeping movement and native culture's medicine wheel symbol (composed of colors red, yellow, black and white) imbeu the color and design composition and looks to inspire members to achieve health goals.

Display banners and street sign to brighten up AIHSC clinc's identity for street traffic. Turquoise and 95% black are the baseline color composition for the AIHSC brand.

Stay Healthy Chicago is an annual logo to brand AIHSC's health and medical campaigns or promotions with a simple positive call to action to be proactive in maintaining good health.

AIHSC has several programs designed to support the native community and it's culture. I've used patterns from traditional native american tapestries to create a fire symbol. Fire is essential to the sweatlodge and its healing spirit.

Functional Health & Wellness logo concept uses the human form to compose the key capital letter F. I look to connect an audience to products in ways that they intuitively understand to make something abstract commercially consumable.

Goal:
Create a logo design and naming concept for Shopko's new loyalty program.

Solution:

The Shopko brand color is green. To empower the brand and re-energize the loyalty identity I created a mark that speaks to the natural branding possibilities associated with "green". Two leaves form an "S" dollar symbol.

InfoGix' software suite Early Warning System logo and identity concept. Two color infiniti mark works on two levels; as a warning symbol and two figures flowing elliptically in unison. The 8 separate softwares worked as one group to monitor data.

In 2002 a friend commissioned me to design a logo for a business associate's web design business based in Denver. Borrowing the design aesthetics of Winter Olympic branding, I created a snowflake motif built out of abstract forms of the letters DAC anchored by a mouse cursor.

Hammer Strength's National High School Player of the Year Award logo design is based on US Stars & Stripes and features the Hammer Strength two color brand style.

Swingline's many stapler products are the standard in the industry. Their line of electric staplers features an "effortless" quality that users enjoy. This logo is designed to be an easy to find mark that can be placed anywhere on the packaging.
Black and yellow are the two strongest contrasting colors in the color spectrum.
